As they walked down the sidewalk, the presence seemed to follow them. Aaron checked back and forth continually, looking for someone that he might have seen at the library. But these were all just a group of unfamiliar faces. Finally, a rather large man wearing a trench coat showed himself from behind a group of people. This large mass Aaron recognized, and what more of a suspicious character would you need. Aaron made up his mind and turned to face this strange person but he had disappeared into the shadows. Aaron knew something was about to go down, he just wished he knew what.
When Aaron turned around, he caught a glimpse of Daryl getting dragged away into an alleyway. He quickly gave pursuit only to stumble into darkness. "Welcome to my world small fry. You better watch where you step. You cant imagine what youre about to step into." Came a deep voice, one that seemed to be of an old man. He then heard a deep rumbling and found himself facing a large cloud of rollers all tumbling towards him. Just before they stuck, the darkness cleared and Aaron found himself back in the alley.
Before Aaron could regain himself, his friend's body slumped to his feet with a gash ripped through his neck. He looked up to where Daryls body had fallen to find himself staring into the cold eyes of the man in the trench coat, only, this was like no man he had seen before. It was more like a towering beast. A beast that killed Daryl. That's all Aaron knew, that's all he cared as he readied himself for a fight. This was just one of those things.
"Give me the stones!" grunted the creature.
"Over my dead body!" was the response without any thought behind it.
The creature tore off its trench coat, ready to make Aaron eat his words. Aaron knew now exactly what was going on and regretted ever waking up that morning. This was an undercreature and it wanted his rollers whether Aaron handed them over or if it had to tear them from his cold, dead body. Aaron was now sure he would never see another day. He inspected the creatures wrist, examining what rollers it had already collected. In what little light was present, Aaron noticed a strength and a defense roller. If this were so, the creatures weakness was speed. This was something Aaron also lacked, especially wearing his pants that low and found himself in a total loss. There was no way out.
