It was about 11:30 am on a Saturday. He had just gotten out of the shower and already his mother and sisters were nagging him. "Aaron, have you done your chores yet?!" were the first words to have been spoken by his mom. And as for his sisters,

     "Aaron, can you take us to the river?"

     "Aaron, can you take us to the playground?"

     And dont forget the classic, "MOM!!! AARON HASN'T DONE HIS CHORES!!!" This was a common thing for weekends.

     Aaron was your not so common 16 year old. He had just moved to Australia from the U.S.A. He had put up with enough from life in the last few years and just didn't care about anything anymore. So he just went about his usual routine, making himself some breakfast and then soon afterward, made his lunch. All along, he had been unaware that someone had been watching him.

     After he had completed his chores, he set off about his way for his daily walk down by the river. He stopped several times to check over his shoulder after hearing someone following him, but there was never anyone there. But he always kept the feeling that someone was following him. He could sense a strange presence.

     After finally reaching the river, he gazed out over the river upon the third largest maze he had come about. The city of Perth. He still felt the strange presence behind him. He passed this feeling away and continued down the bike path. As he approached a large group of bushes, he heard several strange noises but tried to ignore them. Just as he began to continue onwards, a few marbles rolled out onto the path and circled up to his feet. He cautiously bent down and grasped them in his right hand giving them a quick glimpse before he saw a shadow move swiftly before him. As he raised his head to look for the source, a sharp pain stabbed through his body, temporarily paralyzing him. This was followed by an uncontrollable burst of energy, which seemed to flow from an endless source. This allowed him to painfully break free of the paralysis. When he caught himself, he could not find the shadow or its source. This made him extremely curious and the only other place to find an answer was the marbles. As he looked down to them, he came to notice they had formed a line down his wrist and had somehow half buried them into his skin. As he took a closer look, he noticed little symbols within the small spheres and knew instantly what he was dealing with. He knew his history.
